CDI Certified Color Designer (CDI)
- Has passed the Color Board Examination
- Has taken CDI-approved advanced Color and Style Design education
- Practices Personal Color Analysis as a business
- May use “CDI” and/or “CDI Certified Color Designer” after name on business cards, literature, and website
- May hold any office
CDI Color Specialist
- Has taken Color and Style Design education
- Practices color and style design analysis as part of their business
- May use “CDI Color Specialist” after name on business cards, literature, and website
- May hold any office except VP or President, and may serve on any committee
CDI Affiliate
- Works in the image field or a related industry (jewelry makers, photographers, interior designers, creative/art directors, clothing designers, etc.)
- Has a deep appreciation and love of color
- May use “CDI Affiliate” after name on business cards, literature, and website
- May hold any office except VP or President, and may serve on any committee
CDI Alumni
- No longer in business or practicing color analysis
- Has maintained active membership in CDI for at least two years
- Discounted membership fee
- May use “CDI Alumni” after name on business cards, literature, and website
- Is entitled to membership rates for CDI programs
- May hold any office except VP or President, and may serve on any committee
